Athens BookFest?!

Happy October!

We are excited to announce the POTENTIAL Athens BookFest!

This possible event will take place in Athens, PA and be sponsored by Basil E. Bacorn Books, Art, and More. We would love to feature local and regional authors and publishers as well as book-related merchants in a fun one-day event!

We are in the very early stages at this time, so be sure to let us know what you think and like and follow our Athens BookFest Facebook page here if you would like to see this event happen as much as we would!

If you are interested in participating in or helping out with this potential event, please send us an email at hello@bebbam.com!

We will be updating this post as new information becomes available! :)

We Need Your Help

We need your help!

We had the grand opening of our new location in Athens, PA just four months ago and hit the ground running with our unique and interesting merchandise and products that make the world a better place. We are here because we value our hometown community, and now we need your support to help us stay.

We have stumbled upon a rough patch, and being a new business owned and operated by a 19-year-old, we have very limited options for financial aid.

I'm Basil. I was born and raised in Athens, PA, and I chose to put my business here because I believe we can make Athens a thriving town if we all take a little initiative. I, however, am faced with big time money issues threatening my business. You don't have to donate for nothing. Come down to the store, get some eco-friendly office supplies. Buy a book. Get a toy. Check out our inventory and just shop around. We have a nice variety, and will be growing as we go!

I have so many plans for this company and our community, especially approaching the holiday (and celebration!) season, but I need your help in making those plans happen.

I really appreciate all the support I can get. Thank you for taking the time to read this! :) We are open tomorrow (Friday, Aug. 23, 2019) 9am to 9pm and if you can come out and see us, we'd be so thankful.

Also, we are testing out using GoFundMe to help with funding our charitable and community activities! What better time to raise money to send Basil E. Bacorn to a haunted hotel to raise breast cancer awareness?! Check out our GoFundMe page for this "Boos for Boobs" event at gofundme.com/boosforboobs!

BasilPlus

[July 16, 2019] Today is the final day of Amazon's Prime Days - a two-day sales event for Amazon Prime members. Prime members, as many of you know, have so many benefits across Amazon's various assets. For a long time, we have been looking into the possibility of offering our own paid membership program, one that is separate from our existing loyalty program, which is free to participate in and will continue to be so. With that said, we are happy to announce BasilPlus!
